We made it! We made it to the week of Christmas. I’m pretty sure for my boys Thursday can’t get here quick enough; but for me I’m wondering where the last 21 days of December went. Last week we wrapped up the 12 Frugal Days of Christmas and today I wanted to share all 12 days with you in one place. There is still plenty of time to make some of the gifts and decor ideas, and even if you have put yourself on a tight budget all these options are budget friendly. So sit back, relax and don’t stress. The holidays are about family and fun, not presents and who has the best decorated house (which is good because if it was I would be in big trouble)!
Day 1: It’s Beginning To Cook A Lot Like Christmas: Peppermint Brownies in a Jar. These beauties make great gifts for any one in your life. You probably have almost everything you need for this gift in your pantry. If you need a brownie spatula, Orson Gygi has both plastic and wood handle ones for just $.99.
Day 2: Oh The Weather Outside Is Frightful: Peppermint Lavender Bath Bombs. We all know that this time of year can be very stressful. What better way to unwind and relax then with a nice warm bath. With lavender for stress relief and relaxation and peppermint to give a boost of energy these cuties make great gifts for any lady in your life. (Men like them too!)
Day 3: I Want A Hippopotamus For Christmas: Subway Art Free Printable. This is my kids’ favorite Christmas song this year. This fun printable is a great way to dress up your children’s room or place on display anywhere in the house.
Day 4: Kraft Paper Challenge: Homemade Gift Tags and Christmas Stickers. Looking for a fun, inexpensive way to dress up your gifts this year? The free printables included in day four feature both fun and classic tags that both kids and grown-ups will love.
Day 5: Santa’s Clif Bar: Candy Cane Sugar Cookies. The perfect cookie for Santa this year. Peppermint candy cane pieces wrapped in a soft sugar cookie topped with white chocolate. These will give Santa all the energy he needs to make it through the night.
Day 6: Buddy The Elf’s Pancake Spaghetti. If you’ve ever watched the movie Elf with kids, you’ve probably had a request for spaghetti with syrup for breakfast. Problem solved with this recipe for pancake spaghetti. Quick and easy, it’s sure to be a favorite for kids big and small.
Day 7: Have A Holly Lolli Christmas: Santa Lollipop Tree. This fun craft is the perfect gift for teachers or great to have on hand when little ones deserve a treat. Easy enough to make the kids can help, just make sure all the Dum Dums don’t get eaten before they make it on the tree.
Day 8: The Bell Still Rings: A Family Christmas Gift. If you have a lot of family to buy for this time of year can get expensive. Give the gift of The Polar Express with a bell to remind that it still rings for all those who believe.
Day 9: Christmas Quiet Bottle: A Mom’s Best Friend. If your to-do list this week is miles long you need to make this one stat! It’s a fun toy for the kids but it will also be a life saver for you.
Day 10: Wishing You A Merry KISSmas & A SPARKLING New Year: A Neighbor Gift. In need of a few last minute gifts? We’ve been handing Martinelli’s and Kisses out for years and they are always a big hit! Plus they cost less than $3 and take less than 3 minutes to make!
Day 11: Holly Berry Tassel Garland. This fun and easy craft is great to make with the kids and really adds some character to any room. Costing at most $5 to make it’s the perfect decor for anyone wanting to save money while still being festive.
Day 12: Holiday Hot Cocoa Bar & Polar Express Party. Having the family over for Christmas Eve or Day and stumped on what to do for refreshments or fun? Having a hot chocolate bar and watching Polar Express is sure to delight all. Also included are 15+ fun and easy party games.
I hope you have a very Merry Christmas and that these last few days are not only memorable but fun too! I’m so happy you have joined me here at Tastefully Frugal and I look forward to sharing more tips, tricks, recipes and fun with you in 2015.

Such clever ideas. Even though it is Christmas eve, I had time to print out the hippopotamus graphic and hang it!
I just set up a share on my facebook too. https://www.facebook.com/HOMEAGAINJiggetyJig
