Make sure your kids are ready for the new school with these fun math activities. Keep their bodies and minds engaged all summer long!
When I was thinking about what kind of activities I wanted to do with my kids for our Summer Camp this year I knew I wanted to add activities that were not only fun but that helped them keep their minds fresh. My boys both want to go into science fields (astronaut and engineer) when they grow up. They already have a love for science and math and actually love doing science experiments and math work books (these are the ones they really like doing).
So the only hard part of doing math this summer is finding the activities we do! I have planned for us to do math two times a week for our Summer Camp and I knew our math books would only last a few weeks. So I went to Pinterest in search of math activities for my boys.
Summer Math Activities For Kids
My boys are 6 and 7 but both test a grade or two above in math so these activities are great for grades 1-4. You could easily change them to make them easier for younger kids or harder for older kids.
