Keep the kids busy in the kitchen this summer with these easy recipes kids can make!

One of my boys favorite things to do at home with me is cook. They love helping with dinner, desserts, cookies, smoothies and more. When I was planning out our Summer Camp schedule I knew I needed to add some time in the kitchen.

As they are getting older (6 and 7) there are many skills I want to teach them in the kitchen, not just how to make yummy food. That is why for one of our two cooking activity time slots I decided to teach my boys how to meal plan and make a grocery list. I’ll be sharing a post in the next few weeks of how we are doing it, but this is a great way to get your kids involved with decision making and learning needs and wants as a family.Everything you need to make your own summer camp at home!

Summer Cooking With Kids

For each activity this summer I have planned between 45 minutes and an hour so all of these recipes fit within that time frame. Some require a little more rise time or time to cool, but you will be able to make all of these recipes with the kids in under an hour.
