25 Summer Science Activities For Kids

Keep your little scientist busy all summer with these fun science activities.

When I was putting together our DIY Summer Camp I knew I wanted it to be more than just fun and games. I wanted to include activities that would help my kids minds grow and get them ready for when school starts in August. So when I was planning the type of activities I wanted us to do, I knew science had to be one of them.

My oldest wants to be an astronaut and my youngest wants to be an engineer so I knew they wouldn’t get bored with doing science projects a few times a week. If you want to see how I planned our schedule and other activities, you can check out all the details here.

Summer Science Projects For Kids

All of these activities and projects are geared towards elementary aged kids. Some of them kids can do on their own and some they will need your help with. I planned my activities in our Summer Camp to last between 45 minutes and an hour. Some of these take less time than that and so we may do two a day.
