Happy Friday, it’s Sarah from Creative Ramblings. I’m excited to be here today sharing a fun project for the 13 Frightfully Fun Days of Halloween. I made this simple candy corn bottle to use with my Halloween decorations. It’s easy and inexpensive and looks great in a Halloween display.
When I first joined Pinterest almost 5 years ago I pinned a beautiful image of candy corn wine bottles. I finally went back to that image this year and found that it led no where. Bummer. What better way to fix that then to make my own tutorial!
I used two things to make this candy corn bottle; a cool looking bottle or course, and spray paint in white, yellow and orange.
I started with the top and sprayed it white. Then added yellow in the middle and orange on the bottom. I let each layer dry for about 20 minutes before applying the next color. This works best when you use spray paint with a focused nozzle. A can with a wide spray is more difficult to be precise with. I sprayed slowly and from about 12 inches away to get good coverage without too much blending or dripping.
This was such an easy project and I’m so glad I was able to do it. I varied my candy corn colors a little just for fun and love the final look. Now if you find it on Pinterest it will have a proper link attached! Be sure to follow Creative Ramblings on Pinterest for all kinds of Halloween, and every other holiday, inspiration.
