These three ingredient ghost pies are sure to put a smile on all the boys’ and ghouls’ faces.
It’s finally starting to feel like fall here in Utah! For the last few weeks we’ve had some pretty hot days and it hasn’t really made it feel like fall. But now that the temperatures have dropped a bit and the leaves have started to change colors I’m in full-blown fall mode. And what says fall more than pumpkin pie?! For Day 4 of the 13 Frightfully Fun Days of Halloween we put a spooky spin on one of my favorite desserts with a recipe perfect for snack time, dessert time or anytime really.
As I’ve mentioned before my boys really enjoy helping me out in the kitchen. Whether it’s making Dutch Babies in the morning or Enchiladas at night, if they can be in the kitchen helping they are happy. And I’m happy too because some of my best memories as a kid were helping my mom in the kitchen. If I can make some good memories for my boys AND get dinner on the table it’s a win-win for me.
Because they do like to help cook I’m always looking for easy things we can make together in the kitchen. So when I was at Walmart last week and saw these KeeblerĀ® Ready CrustĀ® Mini Graham Cracker Pie Crusts I knew they would be perfect for making pies with small hands. I also picked up a few of the new DannonĀ® OikosĀ® Pumpkin Pie Greek Yogurts and as we were leaving the dairy section the cans of Reddi-wipĀ® were calling my name so I picked up one of those too. Because, you know, what is a pumpkin pie without Reddi-wipĀ®?!
After we got home and put the groceries away my boys wanted to make their pies. Really they wanted to make them when we were still at the store but that wasn’t going to happen. With only three ingredients (and no baking required) these were the perfect afternoon snack to make and clean up after too. I made the first one and added a little spooky-ness to them but putting eyes on them with gel frosting. After that I let the boys take the reigns. Man I wish I would’ve gotten better pictures other than blurry cell phone shots because they were so cute putting these pies together! Not only were these a tasty treat but they were also affordable too so we will definitely be making more in the future and I’ll have to get the camera out then.

These are absolutely adorable and I love how easy they are to really get the fall feeling going, not to mention they also look sooo tasty! Down here in Texas we’re just barely starting to get the first hints of fall in the morning, but I’m enjoying that as well! š
