Start your day off right with this protein packed smoothie.
Now that we are getting back in our school year routine I’m realizing that our 10am breakfasts consisting of Frosted Flakes and eggs aren’t cutting it anymore. I usually start feeling the drain about one in the afternoon and it’s all I can do to not fall asleep during nap time with my boys an hour later. I started reading a few healthy living articles and have decided the best way to have more energy through out the day is to start with a good breakfast.
Breakfast time is definitely the busiest time of the day for us. So my healthy, energy boosting breakfast needed to be something I could make quickly; and what’s easier to make than a smoothie! I put together a few of my favorite fruits and peanut butter and turned them into one super yummy, filling, protein packed smoothie that helps me get up and going in the morning and also helps keep my energy level up through out the day.
