Have fun in the kitchen this summer with your kids with these easy to make recipes and ideas!
One of my boys favorite things to do at home with me is cook. They love helping with dinner, desserts, cookies, smoothies and more. When I was planning out our Summer Camp schedule I knew I needed to add some time in the kitchen.
As they are getting older (6 and 7) there are many skills I want to teach them in the kitchen, not just how to make yummy food. That is why for one of our two cooking activity time slots I decided to teach my boys how to meal plan and make a grocery list. I’ll be sharing a post in the next few weeks of how we are doing it, but this is a great way to get your kids involved with decision making and learning needs and wants as a family.
