Share a few laughs and a healthy alternative to candy this Halloween with Nestlé® Pure Life® Water.
Happy Sunday and welcome to Day 11 of Tastefully Frugal’s Frightfully Fun Halloween. I’m excited to share with you today an easy, healthy alternative to candy for trick-or-treaters or for your Halloween parties. I’m all for having tasty, sweet treats to give out but for my family’s health (and my waste line) we are going to be sticking to healthy treats for trick or treaters this year. In a recent survey, over 38% of moms said that getting kids to drink enough water is the biggest “healthy habit” struggle they have; even more than “eat your fruit” and “get enough exercise”. So when I was at Walmart picking up some supplies for our Halloween party I picked up a case of Nestlé® Pure Life® Water too.
You may remember from our birthday parties this summer the easy water bottle labels I made for our drinks. Now I’ve added a fun Halloween spin on them. Not only are these riddles a little spooky (really they are more cute than spooky) but once you drink the water down you can find the answer to the riddle. Nestlé® Pure Life® recently asked moms and kids and found that 29% of moms found that “fun tactics” were the best way to get their kids to drink more water. And what’s more fun than a joke or riddle?! Add a fun straw to the mix and you’ve got yourself a recipe for keeping your kids hydrated all day. In fact, Nestlé® Pure Life® recently surveyed moms and they found kids are 40% more likely to drink water with a straw.

Another reason I chose Nestlé® Pure Life® Water for our treats is because they have partnered with Healthier America’s Drink Up initiative to make sure families are making healthy choices. Nestlé® Pure Life® has committed to provide nearly one million 8 ounce servings of water to kids this school year through After-School All-Stars.
