You and your little one will be the talk of the town with these Full House inspired mommy and me tees!Full House Mommy & Me Tees: Watch Your Favorite Show In Style With These Matching Tees | Tastefully Frugal

Who is excited for Season 2 of Fuller House to come out on December 9th?! Our whole family got hooked on season 1 and are patiently waiting to binge watch season 2. I’ve been a fan of Full House for as long as I can remember and it’s actually the most requested show by my boys for our night time cool downs. Mahle, who is now 2 months old, loves watching with us too so it seemed only fitting to make her and I matching shirts.

I never thought I’d be that mom who wanted to go all matchy-matchy with her kids but I love it! We’ve made several new friends at the park and while we’ve been out and about wearing these shirts. I’m currently in the process of making my boys shirts with Jesse and Joey taglines. But for now we have these.Full House Mommy & Me Tees: Watch Your Favorite Show In Style With These Matching Tees | Tastefully Frugal

DJ and Michelle were definitely my favorite characters growing up and I’m super bummed the Olsen twins haven’t made it back for the Fuller House show. And out of all the fun catch phrases in the show my favorites are “You Got It Dude” and “Oh My Lanta”. I actually use them in day to day conversations and my boys say them all the time too.

Full House Mommy & Me Tees: Watch Your Favorite Show In Style With These Matching Tees | Tastefully FrugalTo make these all you need is a vinyl cutter (I love my Cricut Explore Air 2), black heat transfer vinyl and plain white shirts (or a onesie). I really like the Favorite Vee Tee from Target because it’s super soft and fits loosely.

If you have a Cricut you can download and cut the design right from this link. If you are using a different machine just create the text in your design space and fit it to size. I used the Kyden font. For the size of the quotes “Oh My Lanta” was 9″ long (my shirt was a medium) and the “You Got It Dude” was 5″ long (her onesie was a newborn).

Next you’ll want to cut your vinyl. Make sure to mirror your text before you print on heat transfer or when you iron it on it will read backwards. Also, you’ll want to make sure your heat transfer is shiny side down on your cutting mat.

Then, after you have your design where you want it, put pressure directly on the plastic backing for 10 seconds. Remove the plastic by slowly peeling up from the bottom left corner and place a pillow case (or thin fabric) over shirt and vinyl. Press down again with iron for 30-40 seconds.
