This Cranberry Orange Smoothie not only boosts your energy but is also good for your immune system and urinary tract.
You may remember one of my new year’s goals was to start waking up earlier to get more things accomplished before my boys woke up. I have been able to stick with that goal, but not without feeling constantly tired. That was until I started making smoothies. Since I don’t drink coffee and I’m not a huge fan of energy drinks, I’ve found that smoothies are a great source of energy for me. I have tried several different fruit and veggie combinations and they all tasted great.
But I wanted something that more than just tasted good, I wanted it to be good for me (and my boys too). I had some leftover cranberries from stove top potpourri and had just gone through 2 bottles of cranberry juice fighting off a UTI. We have also been going through orange juice like crazy hoping to keep colds away (and it has worked). So I decided to combine the two and I’m so glad I did.
