These 3 ingredient treats are a healthy version to your favorite restaurant slush.
I love me some watermelon! Especially during this pregnancy, watermelon has been one of my biggest cravings. This summer we’ve ate watermelon almost every single day but switched up the ways we eat it; that way my boys don’t get tired of eating the same thing over and over again. Their favorite is making watermelon into sorbet. My favorite is this watermelon slush.
I’ve always been a huge slush fan and during my second pregnancy we seriously went to Sonic at least 3 times a week to pick up my favorite craving. I didn’t realize how much sugar was in them until I was doing research on how to make my own (buying slushes that frequently can get expensive) and found out they use five pounds of sugar to every one gallon of water. No wonder I gained so much weight during that pregnancy!
These slushes use only 1/2 cup of sugar and taste just as sweet; if not sweeter! Plus they are so easy to make. I’m over at Pretty Providence sharing all three ingredients and the full recipe. You can check it out here.
