I am most thankful for my beautiful family. We’ve been through a roller coaster of emotions the last 18 months and I can say with confidence that I am a stronger mother, wife and person because of it. Last May we were happily anticipating the arrival of a new baby. Just a few short weeks later our happiness turned into the worst heartache I’ve ever known. Our sweet baby gained their angel wings. Three months later my sweet mother-in-law joined our baby in heaven. I wasn’t sure I could make it through anymore heart break.
Then, on the day our baby was supposed to enter this world we found out we were expecting again. Not just that but this sweet baby was due three days after my mother-in-law’s birthday! I was determined to be able to hold my baby in my arms so I did everything I could to make sure she arrived safe and sound. And sure enough on September 16th Mahle Margaret joined our family.
I am so thankful for how calm and peaceful she is. I’m also thankful for how amazing my boys have been at helping me and for my wonderful husband, Jeremy, and how supportive he has been. I know that no matter what happens in this life my family will always be by my side and that’s what matters most.
