Are your kids having a tough time believing in the Tooth Fairy? Read them The Legend Of The Tooth Ninja.
In our house it is an on-going debate of how much make believe we will let the boys believe; and for how long. Growing up I believed in everything; Santa, Easter Bunny, Tooth Fairy, any fun story there was out there my mom and dad did their best to keep the magic alive for as long as possible. In my husband’s family they told the kids from a very early age that none of these things were real.
Both ways are totally and completely fine but I don’t like giving up on anything and I REALLY want my boys to enjoy the magic for as long as possible. I was so excited when my sister-in-law told me that she was publishing The Legend Of The Tooth Ninja; her story of who comes and takes her kids teeth at night.
Along with beautiful illustrations from Yoko Matsuoka, Stephanie Ream tell the legend of a tiny ninja who, by chance, becomes The Tooth Ninja. The Tooth Ninja doesn’t leave money though he leaves tools, small things that children can build things with. This is even more perfect for my engineer minded boys. They love stacking and building, taking things apart and putting them back together. I can’t wait until they lose their first tooth and the Tooth Ninja can come visit our house too!
But The Legend Of The Tooth Ninja needs some help getting his story out to other families! A Kickstarter campaign has been setup to help Stephanie get these books to print. Head on over and check out the cute video she shares and back The Tooth Ninja!
