Create an easy inexpensive gift box for anyone fighting the flu this year.
Happy Fall! I’m so excited fall has finally arrived; time to wear boots and sweaters. Cook soups and sip on hot apple cider. What I’m not excited about is the sicknesses that come with the cooler weather. Colds, sinus infections and the worst, the flu. We’ve been lucky the last three years no one in our family has come down with it (knock on wood). But the winter before Rohrl was born both Jeremy and I came down with the flu pretty bad. Thanks to his quick thinking we were able to get over it quickly though.
As I was preparing for the cooler weather I wanted to make sure we were stocked with everything we needed should the flu rear it’s ugly head this year. I also wanted to make sure we had supplies on hand so that if a friend or loved one came down with it we could help them too. I’m over at Creative Ramblings today sharing all the details.
Sometimes it’s the little things that can make all the difference and this little gift cost less than $10 to put together and really helped my friend get on to the road for recovery. Knowing that the flu season is right around the corner, I’m stocking up on tips and tricks to fight it as well as recover from it quickly.
