Create a fun, family gift that both kids and parents will love.
Happy Friday! I’m excited to join 14 of my blog buddies in the 12 Days of Christmas Blog Hop. I’m Day 11 and at the end of this post you can check out the other amazing ideas. Today I’m sharing with you my new favorite neighbor gift to give family’s with kids (that live where it snows).
No matter the age of your kids I’m sure you’ve all seen the movie Frozen at least once in the last year. If your kids are like mine I’m sure you’ve seen it at least a hundred times. Though the movie can get on my nerves at times, anytime the songs come on you can bet I’m right there singing along with them. This year when I was thinking about what gifts we could give our friends and neighbors I decided to go with a Christmas carol or song theme.
What I mean by that is I think of my favorite songs then create gifts around that song, or change the words up to make cute gifts. You may remember my It’s Beginning To Cook A Lot Like Christmas Cookie Decorating Kit, Let’s Watch A Show Movie Gift and Merry Kissmas and Sparkling New Year gifts I shared earlier this week. And today’s gift is no different. We took the song that Anna sings to Elsa in the beginning of Frozen and turned it into a fun (and affordable) gift basket.
Basket or Bucket to hold everything (I found mine on clearance at Michael’s but they also have cute ones for $1 at Target)
Top Hot ($3 in the Target Dollar Spot)
Carrot
Scarf (Found at the Dollar Store)
Candy Coal (Also found at the Dollar Store)
Tissue Paper
Gift Tag (Print your gift tag here)
Directions:
Put tissue paper in basket and fill basket with remaining contents.
My boys are so excited to give these to their friends and I’m excited because they only cost about $5 to make. What are your favorite neighbor gifts to give? Don’t forget to check out the other great ideas in our 12 Days of Christmas Blog Hop below:
