Create a table top fire pit in minutes and for just a few dollars.
As we get into the swing of our summer routine I’m trying to narrow down my ginormous list of things I want to do with my family to the things we really have time to. And that I have energy to do; being pregnant during the summer definitely can be draining. On my list of things I wanted to do was go camping for the first time with my boys. Realistically that one will have to wait for another year. Dragging a three year old, four year old and 26 week pregnant woman up into the mountains just doesn’t sound like fun to me. So I decided to bring my favorite part of camping home; the camp fires.
I have so many memories growing up from sitting around the campfire roasting marshmallows, hot dogs, singing and telling ghost stories. I want my boys to have those same memories. We currently are living in a little townhome community without a backyard so building a fire pit was out of the question. So I did the next best thing… I made a small one for my front porch!
It was so easy to make and took less than 2 minutes to put together. Today I’m over at Western Gardens sharing all the details! Click here for the full tutorial.
