Learn to play like Hulk, Iron Man and Captain America and a delicious treat to follow.
Do your kids love The Avengers? My boys sure do! They were into Star Wars for quite a while but when they started to see all The Avengers toys and food at the store when we went shopping they were hooked. We watched the movie about a month ago and since then the boys have been making their own super hero moves and dances. You can only imagine how excited they were when I surprised them with a trip Walmart to pick up their favorite hero toys.
Walmart is our one stop shop for everything Avengers. We got masks, books, and even some yummy treats! We also downloaded The Avengers Super Heroes Assemble App and were able to check out some behind the scene pictures and play a few games just by scanning The Avengers displays! The boys favorites were definitely The Avengers fruit snacks and Rice Krispie Treats. My favorite were the Cheez-It’s because they use turmeric extract for the color. If you want to see some serious Hulk Smash action give my kids anything with artificial colors in it before bedtime and then tell them it’s time for bed; not a good idea.
We love role playing and I think it’s a great way to have kids use their imagination and grow. So as much as they liked the snacks they loved the masks and playing around WAY more. Our moves for Hulk are lift both arms above your head, make fists, and then yell “HULK SMASH” as you throw your arms down.
For Iron Man you start out with your hands by your side, then say “I am Iron Man” and thrust arms forward palm facing away from your body.
Captain America was a little bit tougher. Since I think Chris Evans is a total babe I just told Statham to be cute. They walk around on their tippy toes and smile. Not something I think Captain America would do but it’s so stinkin’ cute to watch! What moves do you have for Captain America?
Fighting crime is tough work so we of course need to eat afterwards. These Jello treats are so easy to make and are the perfect way to celebrate The Avengers: Age of Ultron coming to theaters.
