When we moved into our townhome last May we were only planning on staying 6 months. We had just sold our home and were planning on buying another in November when prices dropped. But life happens, prices didn’t drop and we made some really great friends so we’re staying here for a bit. Since we were planning on moving I never took the time to really decorate since I didn’t want to have to pack everything up again. When we made the decision to stay one of the first things I wanted to do was start adding a few personal touches. In comes Modify Ink.

I had the chance to meet Rachel, Modify’s CEO, at Build Your Blog Conference back in February. They had the most gorgeous setup and gave a coupon in our swag bag for a free print; and you know this girl can’t pass up free! I chose this gorgeous feather print. I loved the contrast of the grey and blues as soon as I saw it! Since then I have had the chance to work with Modify two times and have been totally impressed both times! You may remember this cute bird print from our Easter Basket Giveaway in March and then I took the plunge a few weeks later and created a custom piece of my own.

I was a little nervous at first but it was SO easy. The hardest part was picking which print I wanted to start with. After at least half an hour of deliberating I finally chose the Keep Going French Bulldog and then the fun part began! There are so many color options and you can change EVERYTHING! All you have to do is click on the area you want to change and a sidebar pops up where you can filter by color and texture. There is everything form solid colors, polka dots, stripes and a whole lot more! You could literally spend hours making these prints your own. Or just a few minutes; their system is really fast.

Next step, pick your size. You can have your artwork printed anywhere from a 5″x 7″ all the way up to a 44″ x 60″. I’m working on making a fun and motivating work space and since this pup was so cute and I love the quote “Keep Going No Matter What” I wanted to have it be the center of focus so I chose to go with a 16″x 20″.

I was thinking I was going to have to wait at least a week to get my masterpiece; but no. Within 5 days my beauty showed up on my door step! Modify packages their prints safely and securely and not even a drop off a truck could damage these babies! My boys have enjoyed keeping the sturdy tubes to play with; if they can keep shape with a two and three year old throwing them around, that’s saying something.

I was planning on putting my motivational pup in an IKEA frame but after seeing how gorgeous the print is and the great quality, I decided to make a custom frame. I will be posting pictures of the framed picture soon! I am so happy with not just the quality but also the ease of use, options and price point that I’ll be designing my gallery wall for my office with a more Modify Ink pieces.
