You can even visit Indian Villages to learn more about the land’s original inhabitants.
Arches National Park: Moab, Utah If you want to see beautiful red rocks, arches and have lots of places to hike and run Arches National Park is your go to place. With more than 15 trails to hike ranging from 15 minutes to 4 hours any level of hiker will have so much fun here. There are campgrounds in the park where you can stay or there are many lodging options in Moab. While you’re in town you can also visit Ancient Petroglyphs and Dinosaur Tracks. If you have more time, Canyonlands National Park is just a few short minutes from town too.
Lake Tahoe: Reno, Nevada If you have water lovers but the beaches of Southern California aren’t your scene, you will love Lake Tahoe. In both Nevada and California there are all sorts of things to do at “America’s Best Lake”. From swimming and boating to hiking and ice skating no matter what you want to do on your vacation you can get it done at Lake Tahoe. Our family would love to visit Disneyland and I’ve always wanted to go to Catalina Island. For us this summer, it’s a trip to Yellowstone. I think we will love the beauty and my girls love to see any kinds of animals.
