Mother’s Day Favorite Things Giveaway

Mother’s Day is just a few short weeks away. To tell you the truth I get more excited about Mother’s Day than I do my own birthday! I think a lot of moms feel the same way. It’s nice to have a day when you can relax and get taken care of instead of being the one who takes care of everything all the time. So if you’re reading this, give your mom a break on May 11th; make her breakfast in bed, make your own lunch, let her take a nap; whatever you can do to let mom have a little free time.

The only thing I really want on Mother’s Day is to spend time with my family. My boys are who made me a mom and the reason that I get to celebrate this day so I like to spend the day enjoying their company. But I have a mom, and a mother-in-law, and several mommy friends so I get to do a little spoiling this day too. Salt of the Earth Products: Back in September I had the opportunity to have a girl’s night out and went to this super fun Spa Party at Salt of the Earth up in Woods Cross, Utah. We were pampered with massages and sugar scrubs, spoiled with amazing swag bags and ate the yummiest food. What impressed me the most was the quality of products that Paul Heslop and the staff at Salt of the Earth create. They use all natural ingredients and are featured in spas all across the world! I took home their Grapefruit Whipped Body Creme and it is the ONLY lotion I have used since. It smells amazing and makes my skin super soft and keeps it soft all day. Old Factory Candles: These candles are the bomb dot com. I have 6 of them and love every single one! They are hand made from soy wax and are the best smelling candles I have ever used. My husband is super sensitive to smells and these are the only candles I’ve found that don’t give him headaches. My favorite part about them is their are odor fighters too. I don’t know if they were made for this but our downstairs half bath used to always smell; think a 2 year old who is learning to potty train and doesn’t make it in the toilet 100% of the time. Even though I clean that bathroom daily, it still always smelled! Nothing I used could get the stench to go away; until I used these candles. I use Sea Breeze and it smells heavenly.
