Cook pasta according to directions. Drain and set aside.
In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat.
Add shrimp and garlic to skillet and cook for 3-5 minutes (if you're using raw shrimp, cook until it's pink).
Add chicken stock, lemon juice and salt and pepper and bring to a simmer.
Remove from heat and add lemon zest and parsley.
Add in pasta and mix to combine.
