Apple Fries

Crunchy apple fries coated in cinnamon sugar.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 medium-large apples try to find apples that are more long vs. a perfect circle
  • 2/3 cup sugar
  • 2 Tbsp butter
  • 1 Tbsp cinnamon

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350F
  • Wash and slice apples into fry shape. For tutorial see french fry technique link in the paragraph above.
  • Melt butter and spread evenly on cookie sheet.
  • Mix cinnamon and sugar in ziplock bag.
  • Put apples in bag and shake/mix to combine.
  • Place apple fries in a single layer on cookie sheet and bake.
  • For crunchier fries bake for 10 minutes.
  • For softer fries bake for 20 minutes.

Notes

These are best served warm. You can reheat in the microwave if needed. Just place on a plate and heat for 20 seconds.
These also taste great dipped in caramel.
