4th of July Slush

Ingredients
  

  • 1 envelope of Cherry Kool-Aid powder mix
  • 1 envelope of Mixed Berry Kool-Aid powder mix
  • Juice from 1 lemon or about a tablespoon of lemon juice
  • 1 1/2 cups sugar divided
  • 6 cups club soda divided
  • 6 cups ice about 3 trays or 45 ice cubes, divided

Instructions
 

  • Put 1 tray or 2 cups of ice in blender and crush. Set aside
  • Add Cherry Kool Aid, 1 cup club soda and 1/2 cup sugar to blender and blend for 15 seconds to combine.
  • Add crushed ice back to blender and blend for 5-10 seconds until syrup is incorporated into ice.
  • Fill cups about 1/3 of the way up with slush and freeze for an hour
  • Repeat steps 1-4 but instead of Cherry Kool Aid, use lemon juice.
  • Repeat steps 1-3 but use Mixed Berry Kool Aid.
  • Serve immediately.
