Creamy Chicken Noodle Soup

Ingredients
  • 2 cups shredded chicken
  • 1 cup chopped carrots
  • 1 cup chopped celery
  • 1 cup egg noodles, uncooked
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp pepper
  • 4 Tbsp butter
  • ¼ cup flour
  • 1 cup heavy cream
Instructions
  1. Add carrots, celery, chicken broth, 1 cup cream, garlic powder in to crockpot and cook on low for 4-6 hours.
  2. In a small pot melt butter over medium heat.
  3. Whisk in flour and combine.
  4. Add remaining cream and whisk into a roux. Cook for 3-2 minutes until thickened.
  5. Add chicken, roux and egg noodles and cook for 1 hour
